Rencontres de St-Gall | 01–02 September 2026, St.Gallen
Sustainable entrepreneurship 2.0: How can we re-invigorate the debate (and practice) about the social and environmental responsibility of entrepreneurial ventures? Or do we need to go back to “the business of business is business”?
Rencontres de St-Gall Every two years, SME researchers from all over the world meet for a week at the Rencontres de St-Gall in order to debate SME, entrepreneurship and family business issues.
A research conference with a long tradition According to the records of the Small Business Administration (SBA), the Rencontres de St-Gall is the oldest conference of this kind world-wide (it first took place in 1948). It is a unique characteristic of the conference that the papers are not presented by the authors but summasized by chairs and then discussed in plenary sessions.
